Do not confuse effort with results.
Just because you put in the effort does not mean you'll get the desired result.
A lot of effort gets undone long before results are felt. Going to the gym is undone if you eat poorly. Focusing only on work gets undone by the inevitable health and relationship issues that come from under-investment. When we try to speed up the outcome, our lack of patience undoes the result.
Results are accumulated in drops but lost in buckets. Make sure you're not undoing the things you're trying to accomplish
1. Set SMART Goals: Goals should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
2. Break Down Goals: Break down goals into smaller, manageable steps.
3. Create a Timeline: Create a timeline with deadlines for each step.
4. Monitor Progress: Monitor progress regularly to ensure goals are on track.
5. Celebrate Successes: Celebrate successes along the way to stay motivated.
6. Stay Positive: Stay positive and focus on the end result.
7. Stay Flexible: Be flexible and adjust goals as needed.
8. Get Support: Get support from family, friends, and colleagues.
9. Visualize Success: Visualize success and use positive affirmations.
10. Reward Yourself: Reward yourself for reaching milestones and goals.
